get ready, folks... tomorrow is december 1st and im getting excited!! i've been listening to my christmas albums on shuffle for the majority of the night, i've picked out the gifts for my friends, and of course for me. i've already planned imaginary christmas parties and thought of new hot chocolate recipes.

am i little obsessed? maybe..
do i mind that? not at all.

shop til you drop

i was online shopping and found some things i loveeeee. this adorable black sequin top, but not too flashy would be perfect for a night out with friends. I would wear it with jeans and my new MIA shoes:

another really cute top i found was this casual striped shirt with a little flair on the pocket. i really like how its relaxed and a little oversized but still stylish. i would probably wear this with some boots to give it a warmer winter look.

i also loveeee this sweater from anthropologie. its way too expensive for me, but for people out there who are willing to spend 128 for a sweater... go for it. for those of us who aren't i found a cheaper alternative. almost as cute but definitely worth the 48 dollars for it!! from urban outfitters, one of my fav stores for sure.

well im about to chow down on some biscuits for breakfast, finally in sweet home alabama (never thought i'd say that...) so keep online shopping and feel free to comment with links to other cool things you like! im always up for new ideas. au revoir!

oklahoma, oklahoma

for thanksgiving my fam jam decided to visit the g-rents in okie. my trip started off with a 16 hour drive... very unfortunate. while here we pretty much eat and watch sports... all day. relaxing? yes. boring? yes. i wrote a paper, did my biology exam review, painted my nails 3 different times, watched all the harry potters, and mastered the walking handstand. none the less, i had some fun great happy memorable! moments...

i woke up wednesday morning to my grandfather dangling raw bacon over me... if you know me, you know that i am the absolute opposite of a morning person (not really a night owl either...) greasy pig is definitely not the way to put me in a good mood.

later that day we watched The Terror of Tiny Town. suprisingly very amusing but kinda left me in a state of confusion (?) 

Including all of my odd experiences, I actually had kinda a fun time, so if you ever plan on visiting oklahoma just holla. i'll give you some great nail polishes, peculiar movies, and tricks for walking on your hands. so enjoy the rest of your holidays and roll tide!

i love the feeling of being inspired. sometimes i get the urge to paint a picture (later remembering im wretched at art) sometimes i want to run a few miles, then i remember im just not a natural runner. but the outcome isn't what's important. the only thing that matters is how it makes you feel when you wanna do something you normally don't consider. people are inspired in all sorts of ways, so im beginning to make it a goal of mine to inspire people with everything i do. whether its good or bad, i just hope im making people think a little and be different. so go for it.
inspire, be inspired.

well i have zero followers, but still... yayy! so excited to be blogging. to start off i'll say a little bit about me... im six feet tall and have very lanky legs, no need to tell me, im well informed. i loveeee starbucks, i have no idea what i would do without it:

• caramel brulee frappuccino or caramel latte (im OBSESSED with caramel)
• apple fritter (ask them to warm it for you)

i WILL go to georgetown. im obsessed with d.c. and i want to live there more than anything. im going to peru this summer!!! with captivated334 aka the most adorable bff you could have!! eat, pray, love by elizabeth gilbert inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and be inspired by the little things, i definitely suggest you read it. asap.
i've learned that God is the ultimate rock and savior. lean on him, always.
